A unique facility built in 1996 to feature the amazing phenomena known as the ‘Northern Lights’ or ‘Aurora borealis’, the Northern Lights Centre boasts state-of-the-art panoramic video and surround-sound systems. The Northern Lights Centre also incorporates interactive displays that explain the science and folklore of the Northern Lights with the latest information about the Canadian space program.
Watson Lake Community Outreach has been serving the community since 1979, incorporated in 1985. As a Watson Lake based non-profit organization, we offer many services for job seekers and employers. Our office is equipped with two public computers for internet job search and resume writing, a fax machine and photocopier, as well as information about government programs, student funding, local and non-local employment opportunities.
Since 1963, The Watson Lake Chamber of Commerce has aimed at promoting and improving trade, commerce, the development of natural resources and the economic, civic and social welfare of Watson Lake and the surrounding district.
